VR Company of the Year 2026

Travel Connect was named Company of the Year 2026 in the large company category, received the Most Family-Friendly Company of the Year award for the first time, and daughter brand Iceland Travel recognized as a Model Company.

Sustainability Across Our Network

Most suppliers in Travel Connect's network are locally owned, with tourism revenue staying close to home and in the hands of people who genuinely care about their communities. Our data shows strong commitment across all three pillars of sustainable tourism, with plenty of room still to grow.

Travel Connect Fund has donated 13 million ISK

Since its launch in October 2025, Travel Connect Fund has directed 13 million ISK to 12 projects across Iceland and Scotland, from supporting children with rare diseases to funding inclusive play for disabled young people.

Applications are open

Applications are open for Travel Connect Fund donations and the deadline to apply is March 8th. Not-for-profit organizations doing meaningful work aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals can now apply for donations.

Travel Connect Moves Under One Roof

In fall 2025, Travel Connect reached an important milestone when all its travel brands in Iceland moved into the same building at Suðurlandsbraut 34 in Reykjavík. After years of operating from three different office locations, our teams are now united under one roof.
